WHAT IS A PRE-BUY INSPECTION?
A pre-purchase inspection is not an annual inspection, although the buyer and seller could agree to such an arrangement. The object is to examine the aircraft for damage and wear that might not be evident to an untrained eye and to form an educated guess as to maintenance problems that might arise in the future. The outcome of a pre-buy inspection is likely to affect the price of the aircraft. All of our services, especially this one, exist to make your life easier and stress free. THE PROCESS
A preliminary logbook review to ensure that the aircraft is a good purchase candidate and that there are no major show-stoppers or red flags. By reviewing the aircraft logbooks, we can learn a tremendous amount about how and where the aircraft has been operated; how, where and by whom it has been maintained; and what the major areas of concern and concentration should be during the pre-buy inspection
A AD(Airworthiness Directive) Compliance review
A thorough aircraft inspection performed by fully qualified and well experienced A&P/IA technicians
A provided checklist and discrepancy sheet of pre-buy inspection
A test flight arrangement (Optional)** Verifying all aircraft and avionic systems function properly
